A Curious Voynich (ACV) adalah proyek musik dari Dito Buditrianto (gitaris Cause & The Glans) dan Gustmar Helmy (vokalis Hate To Think& Gravebehold) yang terbentuk pada awal tahun 2013 dan memainkan musik yang terpengaruh oleh sound post-hardcore dengan paduan musik seperti Counterparts, Defeater, NORA, dan lainnya.
Beberapa bulan setelah terbentuk, ACV sempat merilis maxi-single berisikan dua lagu berformat CDR yang hanya dibuat 20 keping dan disebarkan dengan metode trading. Tak lama setelah itu mereka tampil live untuk pertama kalinya dengan bantuan tiga orang kolaborator pada perhelatan tur Kids On The Move (Malaysia) di Bogor.
Bersama dengan Hujan! Rekords, ACV merilis EP berjudul The Encryption of Secret Messages yang masih terinspirasi dari pertanyan dan pernyataan terhadap pemikiran manusia secara general. EP ini dapat disebut sebagai sebuah album konsep yang kesemua lagunya saling berkaitan dan harus didengarkan secara utuh.
Pada proses produksi, ACV dibantu oleh Ade, drummer unit groove metal/nu-metal muda asal Bogor, Benigno Anthony sebagai kolaborator. Artwork dari EP ini dibuat oleh Bebe Wahyu, ilustrator yang juga mengerjakan artwork pada rilisan maxi-single ACV serta artwork dan booklet album terbaru milik Cause, The Man In Suit. EP pertama dari ACV dirilis dalam dua paket berbeda yaitu deluxe dan reguler.
